Curing
The controlled drying and aging process that follows the initial drying of harvested cannabis. Cured in sealed jars with controlled humidity (typically 58–62% RH) over a minimum of 2–4 weeks, ideally longer. Curing allows residual moisture to redistribute evenly, chlorophyll to break down, and terpenes to fully develop — producing smoother, better-tasting, more potent final product. For edibles, proper curing also ensures even moisture content for consistent decarboxylation.
