Harvest

The process of cutting cannabis plants at the end of the flowering stage to collect the mature buds. Harvest timing is one of the most important decisions in home growing — harvesting too early reduces potency and yield; harvesting too late shifts the effect profile toward more sedating as THC degrades to CBN. Trichome colour is the most reliable harvest timing indicator: mostly cloudy/milky trichomes indicate peak THC; increasing amber indicates THC degradation and a more sedative effect.
