Hybrid

A cannabis strain that results from crossing indica-dominant and sativa-dominant plants. Virtually all modern cannabis strains are hybrids to some degree — the result of decades of selective breeding. At the dispensary, "hybrid" typically means a strain that doesn't fit cleanly into the indica or sativa box. The classification is less useful for predicting effects than examining a strain's specific cannabinoid and terpene profile.
