Indica
A botanical classification describing cannabis plants with short, bushy growth patterns, broad leaves, and faster flowering times — originating from the Hindu Kush mountain region. Commonly associated with sedating "body high" effects in cannabis retail, though this effect-based classification is not reliably supported by the science. The indica label is more useful for growing decisions (plant structure, space requirements, flowering time) than for predicting effects.
