Ruderalis

A third cannabis species (Cannabis ruderalis) originating from Central Asia and Eastern Europe. Ruderalis plants are small and low in THC, but possess the autoflowering trait — they flower based on age rather than light cycle. Modern autoflowering strains are hybrids that incorporate ruderalis genetics for the autoflowering trait while using indica or sativa genetics for cannabinoid content and yield.
