Strain
A specific variety of cannabis with a particular combination of genetics, growth characteristics, and cannabinoid and terpene profile. Strains are developed through selective breeding and named by breeders or growers. Strain names like Blue Dream, OG Kush, or Harlequin describe specific genetic lines, though naming inconsistency across the industry means the same name can sometimes describe different genetics depending on the source.
