CB2 Receptor

The second primary cannabinoid receptor, concentrated in the immune system and peripheral tissues. CB2 receptors are involved in regulating inflammation and immune response. THC binds to CB2 receptors but less strongly than CB1 — CBD and caryophyllene interact with CB2 more significantly. CB2 activation doesn't produce psychoactive effects.
