CBDA (Cannabidiolic Acid)
The raw, acidic precursor to CBD found in unheated cannabis. Like THCA converting to THC, CBDA converts to CBD through decarboxylation — applying heat over time. Raw cannabis contains mostly CBDA, not CBD. Decarbing is required to activate it for edibles.
