Sublingual cannabis consumption (typically via tincture) produces faster onset than edibles (15–45 minutes vs. 30–120 minutes), shorter duration (2–4 hours vs. 4–8 hours), and a more THC-like effect profile rather than the 11-hydroxy-THC-dominant experience of digested edibles.
