Tincture
A cannabis extract made by soaking decarboxylated cannabis in high-proof grain alcohol, then straining out the plant material. The alcohol dissolves and carries cannabinoids and terpenes into the liquid. Tinctures are the most precise, fast-acting edibles format — dosed in drops or millilitres, absorbed sublingually in 15–45 minutes, and usable in cooking or beverages.
