Entourage Effect

The theory that cannabinoids, terpenes, and other cannabis plant compounds work better together than in isolation — that the combined effect of the whole plant is greater than the sum of its parts. The most studied example is how CBD modifies the THC experience. Terpenes are also believed to contribute to the overall effect profile beyond their aromatic properties. The evidence is promising but still emerging.
