Isolate

A cannabis extract refined to contain a single cannabinoid — typically CBD or THC — at high purity (often 99%+), with all other plant compounds removed. Isolates are the most precise form for dosing and carry no risk of other cannabinoids appearing in drug tests. The tradeoff is the absence of the entourage effect — the potential synergy of multiple cannabinoids and terpenes working together.
