Linalool

A cannabis terpene with a floral, lavender-like aroma. Also the primary aromatic compound in lavender. Associated with calming and anxiolytic effects — the research basis comes partly from studies on lavender aromatherapy. Cannabis strains high in linalool are often sought for stress, anxiety, and sleep. In cooking, linalool-dominant strains produce delicate, floral infusions that work beautifully in honey, herbal teas, and light desserts.
