Typically the most abundant terpene in modern cannabis strains. Earthy, musky, herbal aroma — also found in mangoes, hops, and thyme. Associated with relaxing, sedating effects and commonly cited as a key contributor to the "body high" associated with high-myrcene strains. May enhance THC absorption by increasing cell membrane permeability. In cooking, myrcene-dominant strains produce earthy, full-flavoured infusions suited to savory applications.
