Potency
The concentration of active cannabinoids in a cannabis product, typically expressed as a percentage (for flower) or milligrams (for edibles and extracts). Potency is the primary determinant of how strong an effect a given amount will produce. For homemade edibles, potency is estimated rather than lab-verified — use our Potency Calculator to get a reasonable estimate based on your cannabis's THC percentage and the amount used.
